Baby antelope, with just a low sound from their mothers, will collapse to the ground instantly. Due to the fact that they are virtually odorless, predators will not pick up a scent and will not see them when they are laying like this. Within a few hours of being born, they are able to keep up with their mothers, however, and it isn't long until they can run all out for quite a distance.
